With over 15 years of experience in finance, bookkeeping & payroll, April is the Director and Founder of Penny & Paper Bookkeeping Solutions, a firm dedicated to helping small to medium businesses stay organised, compliant, and financially confident. April is a registered BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board & a MYOB Purple Partner.
Throughout her career across the Building & Construction, Training, and Heavy Industry sectors, she has supported businesses of all shapes and sizes — from small family-run ventures to larger organisations and not-for-profits. April has built a reputation for precision, reliability, and genuine client care. Her expertise spans across bookkeeping, payroll, HR, financial reporting, financial management and business support, with a strong focus on streamlining systems and improving efficiency.
April’s hands-on experience includes implementing ERP systems, managing budgets and statutory compliance, and leading finance teams to deliver accurate reporting and cost control.
